Sprint Words ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using Sprint Words, you agree to the practices described here.
Account information. When you create an account using Sign in with Apple or choose a username handle, we receive a stable user identifier from Apple. We store the handle (username) you choose and associate it with your game activity.
Guest play. You can play as a guest without creating an account. Guest sessions are assigned a temporary identifier stored only on your device.
Game data. We collect scores, words found, game timestamps, and leaderboard results to power in-game features and statistics.
Purchase information. If you subscribe to Sprint Words Premium, the transaction is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive only a receipt confirmation and entitlement status — never your payment details.
Device & usage data. We may collect basic device information (iOS version, device model) and crash/performance logs to diagnose issues. We do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA).
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for advertising profiling.
We do not share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We may share data with service providers who help us operate Sprint Words (e.g., Firebase by Google for backend infrastructure), under strict data processing agreements. These providers may only use your data to provide services to us.
We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Sprint Words, our users, or the public.
Your chosen username handle and your game scores and rankings are visible to other players on in-app leaderboards. Your Apple ID email address is never shared with other players. If you prefer privacy, you may choose a handle that does not identify you personally.
We retain game data and account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us (see Section 9 below). Upon a verified deletion request, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Sprint Words is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and Firebase security rules to protect your data. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard your information.
