Sprint Words is free to play. Premium is an optional subscription that unlocks additional game modes, board types, and Sprint League participation. You can subscribe from within the app under Settings → Premium.
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID and can be cancelled at any time in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Open Sprint Words, go to Settings → Premium, and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple ID that was used to purchase Premium.
Sprint League is a daily competitive mode where every player plays the same set of boards each day. Your best scores from up to 3 boards per day are summed into a daily total, and a streak multiplier rewards consistent daily play — up to +10% bonus points for a 7-day streak.
Weekly and all-time leaderboards track Sprint League standings. The streak resets every Monday, so each week is a fresh start.
Your Sprint League streak resets in two situations: if you miss a day entirely, or at the start of each Monday (the weekly streak window is Sunday through Saturday). This is by design — each week is its own streak challenge. Your all-time best streak is preserved in your stats.
Each word you find earns points based on its length and letter values. Bonus tiles — Prefix/Suffix tiles, Word Multiplier tiles — can multiply your score. Finding words quickly earns Combo Bonuses. In some board modes, covering specific tiles earns a Blackout Bonus.
In Sprint League, your daily score = (best scores from up to 3 boards) × (1 + streak bonus %). Your streak bonus grows by a few percent each day you play, maxing out at +10% on day 7.
A Win is recorded only when you finish in 1st place on the leaderboard for that round. Simply completing a round does not count as a win — you have to be at the top.
Sprint Words uses a curated word list based on standard English dictionaries. Some valid-sounding words may not be included if they are obscure, offensive, or proper nouns. If you believe a common word is missing, please let us know by emailing support — we do update the word list periodically.
Stats are calculated server-side and should be accurate within a few seconds of a round ending. If you're seeing incorrect stats, try closing and reopening the app. If the problem persists, please contact support with your username and the date/time of the affected game.
First, try force-quitting and restarting the app. If that doesn't help:
1. Check that you have a stable internet connection — Sprint Words requires online access.
2. Make sure your iOS is up to date.
3. Uninstall and reinstall the app (your account data is saved in the cloud, not locally).
4. If the issue continues, please email us with your device model and iOS version.
You can delete your Sprint Words account and all associated data at any time. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
If you are unable to access the app, you can also request account deletion by emailing support@sprintwords.app with your username. We will process the request within 30 days.
